We recently released Google Places with Hotpot in Google Maps for Android, and starting now, you can have that same great experience as an iPhone app. We realize the importance of finding places you’ll love while you’re out and about, no matter what mobile device you use. And Places with Hotpot not only helps you find places near where you are, it gives you the best places to go for you by personalizing your search results.
In case you aren’t familiar with Google Places, it lets you quickly search for places nearby and personalizes the results based on places you’ve rated. We get you started with a few popular search categories, but you can also tailor the list by adding your own favorite searches. This makes it fast and easy to find the best places for you with little fuss.

Değerli ÇözümPark Ailesi,
Çözümpark’ın temel ilkesi sayılabilecek “Kitabımızda birinci sıranın aşağısı olmamalıdır.” felsefesi ile yola çıktığımız günler daha dün gibi hepimizin hatırındadır.
Artık görmeye alıştığınız ama acaba bu defa nedir diyerek de bir yandan merak ettiğiniz yeni bir ÇözümPark hizmetini sizlere sunmanın gururunu yaşıyoruz.
Nihayetinde, Banka BT Personellerinin Dünya’da ve Türkiye’de ilk defa yapılan bu proje ile bir araya gelmesinin sağlanıyor olmasının yaşattığı sevinç, diğer yandan bu sevincimiz olan projenin Beta’dan şu an itibariyle çıkıyor olması ve sizlere duyurulması ayrı bir heyecan yaşamamıza neden oluyor.
ÇözümBank, Türkiye’de Faaliyet gösteren bankalardaki IT Personellerinin bilgi paylaşımı amacı ile kurulmuş bir mail grubudur. Bankacılık Sektöründe çalışan pek çok uzman bilişimcinin katılımı ile oluşan bu mail grubuna üye olmak için sadece Türkiye’de faaliyet gösteren bir bankanın bilişim bölümlerinden herhangi birinde çalışıyor olmak yeterlidir. Bankaların bilgi gizliliği kanunları çerçevesinde kurallar ile paylaşımları korunan ÇözümBank mail grubu, Microsoft Türkiye tarafından ilk günden bu yana desteklenmektedir.
Amacımız, Türkiye’de hizmet veren bankalarımızın BT birimleri arasında ortak bir buluşma noktası yaratabilmektir; karşılıklı fikir alışverişlerinin, yaşanan tecrübelerin, belirli hizmet modelleri için kullanılan uygulamaların, yenilikçi yöntemlerin, çok önemli bir sorun/gelişme yaşandığında havuzun acil olarak bilgilendirilebilmesinin ve böylece diğerlerinin benzer durumlar için tedbirli olabilmesinin vb. çoğaltılabilecek senaryolar için samimi ve dostane bir sinerji yaratılabilmesidir.
Unutulmamalıdır ki gerçek başarılarda Bireysel Başarı’ya yer yoktur, gerçek başarı için bir Beyin Takımı gereklidir; Ne kadar zeki olursanız olun, başarı yolunda başkalarının zihin gücünü kullanmak beyin gücünüzü dörde katlamak gibidir.
Kısacası, başarılı olmak için etrafınızda başarılı insanların olması gerekir.

Çin’den gelen haberler ABD’li teknoloji meraklılarını hiç de memnun etmedi.
Dünyanın en iyi süperbilgisayarına sahip olmak için kıyasıya yarışan ABD ve Çin arasındaki rekabette müthiş bir gelişme yaşandı ve liderlik el değiştirdi.
Tianjin’deki Ulusal Süperbilgisayar Merkezi’ndeki Tianhe-1A adlı makine artık dünyanın en hızlı süper bilgisayarı olarak anılıyor.
Linpack adlı bir yazılımla yapılan ölçümler sonucu 2.507 petaflop gibi rekor bir puana ulaşmayı başaran Tianhe-1A böylece ABD’de üretilen Jaguar adlı süperbilgisayarın 2.3 petaflop’luk skorunu egale etmiş oldu.
Yeni şampiyon 7,168 adet NVIDIA Tesla M2050 grafik işlemci ve 14,336 adet Intel Xeon işlemci kullanıyor. Jaguar ise AMD Opteron tabanlı işlemciler kullanıyordu.
Önümüzdeki hafta açıklanacak olan en iyi 500 süperbilgisayar listesinde Tianhe-1A’nın rakiplerini de yakından görme fırsatı bulacağız.
